Unfortunately, no it didn't come from the comic book store. It came from a friend that worked at Gamestop who had gotten it for free since it was laying around. That's also how I got the Bobblehead Ivy, which was a Gamestop Pre-Order Exclusive! I'm digging the new mash-up you made...I might have a request for you =P. Also, my random question is what are your 3 fav colors?
My top 3 colors are green, red, and black (I don’t care if it’s technically not a color). I didn’t know about the bobble head Ivy as a preorder bonus. I ended up getting SC5 on day two on a whim. As for mash-ups, I’m glad you’re feeling the latest one. Feel free to make as many requests as you like.

Vocals: The Roots - 75 Bars (Black’s Reconstruction)
Beat: Anamanaguchi - Skate Or Live
Today I mixed The Roots to Lucas Lee’s boss battle theme from the Scott Pilgrim game. I took some liberties extending the beat and shortening the wait for the drop in the beginning, but it’s all intact and I think it fits. Feel free to get this mashup HERE. Have fun listening.
And to epicdominican91: I’m still working on your request (definitely a tricky one). Luckily, I know you’re a Scott Pilgrim fan so hopefully this mashup will do for the time being.
epicdominican91 asked:
Ok, cool, because I was wondering if maybe you can find acapella for Yasha's Theme (from Asura's Wrath), or Dark Pit's Theme (from Kid Icarus Uprising)?
I’ll give it my best shot. I rarely get to mix to more recent soundtracks like these so it’s a good opportunity. I’m not sure if either of these are very conducive to my usual hip hop acapellas so maybe I’ll switch genres for the vocals. I’ll try and make it work somehow.
Sure I do. Only one person has ever requested one from me but I fulfilled it. Requesting specific vocals is kinda hard since acapellas are hard to come by but soundtracks and beats are easier. Either way, searching and experimenting, etc. might take a while but I’ll do my best to make it a good mashup.

Vocals: Royce Da 5’9 ft. Eminem - Writer’s Block
Beat: MC Koi - NMH Theme
I apologize for my inactivity lately. After nearly a month’s hiatus, I made another No More Heroes mashup. The beat is a somewhat trance-ish remix of the Zako themes in No More Heroes, but it has drums and snares that I think make it work for a hip hop mashup like this one. I threw in a funny little snippet from this video in between the verses because it sounded relevant and filled some time up. I hope you guys enjoy it. Feel free to download the mashup HERE.

Just hate fucking losing all the time. I was good at it…now I barely win a round or go with teammates without almost being knocked out. I feel like a total loser that hit my plateau but everyone gets better. I even notice in teams that my partner carries the fight. Sorry Danny, Mikey, & Chris… I suck :’(
You don’t suck. We just fight really good players, most of which are your friends so it makes sense if they’re used to you or able to read you by now. Give yourself some credit though. You rarely bust out Cammy anymore (who you usually wreck shop with) and feeling out your subs or maining a new character is a slow process (it took me forever to learn legit Asuka combos/links and play without relying too much on her counter). Plus, as soon as I messaged you about how to read Chris’ Cammy, you played accordingly and we won (and YOU did most of the work whittling her down for me to finish). The only thing anyone really has on you is that they know their links into Supers for damage output. The way you control space and approach is awesome (even better than me) which is why I always have you as point. If it wasn’t for you building the meter at the start of every match, I wouldn’t do half as much as I do (you know I burn through meter as Asuka), so you’re the one actually carrying the fights.

Vocals: B. Dolan - The Hunter
Beat: Masafumi Takada - Walking On Leaves
Honestly, I’m not a fan of the original beat for “The Hunter” (I prefer the Mux Mool remix). I decided to do something about that and mix the vocals to a beat I DO like. I used the Forest of Bewilderment’s BGM from No More Heroes. That stage’s music and setting are both appropriately dark and unsettling so they fit the song well enough to me. If you like this mashup, feel free to get it here. Have fun listening, and enjoy!

Vocals: OutKast - Bombs Over Baghdad (B.O.B.)
Beat: Takanori Izumi - Stage 2 (Ravine)
This is my second “Bombs Over Baghdad” mashup attempt (I wasn’t fully satisfied with the first one), mixed to an arranged version of ESPGaluda’s “Ravine” (Stage 2 BGM). CAVE has yet to make a shmup where we all pilot Cadillacs, but hopefully this will tide you over in the meantime. Feel free to download the mashup here. Enjoy.

Vocals: Atmosphere - She’s Enough
Beat: Masafumi Takada - DND (Do Not Destroy)
I honestly didn’t think I’d have anything to post for Valentine’s Day. It turns out though, I had a mashup to spare. I (usually) don’t have anyone in particular to celebrate with so I came up with somethig that I could share with everyone. Have a happy Valentine’s Day and feel free to download the mashup here (it can’t be any worse than those boxed toothpaste chocolates right?).

Vocals: Reks - Rise
Beat: BlueStarBeatsTV - Secret Of Mana Remix
Sample: Hiroki Kikuta - The Wind Never Ceases
I love popular soundtracks like Secret of Mana’s because so many fans make a wide variety of arrangements/remixes; some of which are even conducive to hip hop. So I took it upon myself to mix Reks to a remix of the Lofty Mountains’ theme. Feel free to download the mashup here. Happy listening, and hopefully you’ll enjoy it.

Vocals: Reks - The One
Beat: Ayako Saso (佐宗 綾子) - Stage 4*
*Arranged/Remixed version of Manabu Namiki’s “Sakusetsu (錯節)”
As much as I love Statik Selektah’s production on “The One”, I had to give it the boot for this mashup. So Reks is now mixed to one of Ayako Saso’s arrangements for DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou. Here’s a download link to the mahsup if anyone’s interested. Happy listening!

Vocals: B. Dolan ft. Sage Francis - Heart Failure
Beat: Jake “virt” Kaufman - Darkened (Boss) [original by Manabu Namiki]
The beat I mixed the vocals to is an arranged version of a boss theme from Ketsui: Kizuna Jigokutachi. The music was one of a few features brought into Do-Don-Pachi Dai-Fukkatsu Black Label’s Arrange Mode for a sort of Ketsui/Do-Don-Pachi crossover. Hopefully you’ll enjoy my KetsuiPachi mashup. Here’s the usual download link for anyone interested. Happy listening!

Vocals: Outkast - Bombs Over Baghdad
Beat: Manabu Namiki - WRS: The Game
Admittedly, the hook on this mashup is kinda meh, but the rest of it worked out alright. It’s been a while since I’ve made anything so I’ll post it regardless. It’s Outkast mixed to White Rock Shooter’s theme in Black Rock Shooter: The Game. Here’s the usual download link just in case. Hopefully you’ll enjoy it for the most part.
